MALE PHYSIQUE

(This division is open to Physique and Bodvybuilding) – 60/90 second Posing routine (optional)

This division prioritises proportions, symmetry, conditioning, and classic muscle shape over extreme mass or striations.

Competitors will be judged on their ability to present a classic, proportioned, and aesthetically pleasing physique, reminiscent of the golden era of bodybuilding. Judges will be looking for:

  • A well-developed V-taper, broad shoulders, a narrow waist
  • Balanced muscle separation
  • A full yet conditioned physique without excessive striations

Competetion format - 3 Rounds

Round 1: Individual T-Walk
Competitors perform an individual T-Walk with a maximum of three poses.

Round 2: Symmetry Round (Half-Turn Comparisons)
Competitors are judged on symmetry and balance through half-turns, including:

  • Front Relaxed Pose
  • Rear Relaxed Pose

Round 3: Muscularity Round (Compulsory Poses)

  1. Side Chest
  2. Side Triceps
  3. Front Double Biceps
  4. Rear Double Biceps
  5. Front Abdominal & Thigh

Judging Criteria

  • Muscularity – Full, well-developed muscles with clear separation.
  • Symmetry – Balanced proportions between the upper and lower body.
  • Conditioning – Lean physique with hard visible abs and muscle definition.
  • Stage Presence – Confident presentation and polished posing.
  • Physique Balance – Broad shoulders, developed chest, back, and arms with a narrow waist (classic V-taper).

Leg development should be balanced but less emphasized than in Bodybuilding while still somewhat filling out the board shorts.

Judges favour a fuller, rounded muscular physique over an excessively lean or striated appearance.
